Job Title: IT Technician
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist new employees with set-up of their emails and printers.
Set-up of laptops of new employees – Registration on server and domain, loading of Microsoft Office on the machines
Troubleshooting – Assisting employees with Microsoft Office issues
Ensure that back-ups are run correctly and regularly.
Procurement of IT equipment – Ensure the correct assets are purchased at the best price.
Maintain and control the IT asset register.
E- marketing, managing of websites, creating logos.
Monitoring of data usage at service provider
Administration of cellphone packages and modems
Development of IT policy and ICT infrastructure
Management of Office 365
Management of Microsoft SharePoint
Management of printers and printer service providers
Management of telephone and PABX system.
Ensure a stable network environment.
Acumatica user support – management of user access and connectivity
Uniclox support – Hardware and software user support
Desired Experience & Qualification:
± 3 Years Experience in similar role
Own reliable transport, valid driver’s license essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated; High energy; logical
Excellent work ethic
Must have high levels of persistence and perseverance.
Meticulous list and action management – follow-up and follow through.
