Job Title: Sales manager for DELL division at leading IT Reseller
Duties & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Develop and implement strategies to grow Dell’s business within the organisation in the following areas:
Storage (STORAGE, DATA PROTECTION, COVERGED/HYPERCONVERGED INFRASTRUCTURE)
Client Devices (CORE CLIENT, WORKSTATIONS, DELL ENDPOINT SECURITY, LATITUDE RUGGED)
Server (Server/VMware) and Networking
APEX (APEX CLOUD, APEX DATA STORAGE SERVICES)
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Dell products and services.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Dell, and the company’s management and customers.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay informed of industry developments.
Manage the Dell business unit budget, ensuring optimal return on investment.
Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve Dell business unit goals.
Collaborate with other business units within the company to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive overall company growth.
Ensure compliance with Dell and the company’s policies and procedures.
Increase the Dell specific Revenue.
Build capability (resources, skills, capacity, experience) within the organisation.
Monitor and actively manage Dell status, rebates, certification compliance and new service offerings.
Develop and maintain effectiveness and efficiencies within the organisation.
Develop 3rd level support capabilities within the department.
Provide leadership and direction to a team of people.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
MINIMUM DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of growing a business unit within a company.
Strong understanding of Dell products and services, as well as the IT industry as a whole
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, ICT/Engineering, or a related field
Package & Remuneration:
Up to R900 000 CTC
